I read a book called "Violet Raines Almost Got Struck By Lightning" by Danette Haworth. It's about a girl named Violet Raines who has a friend named Lottie. Violet and Lottie are very close friends, until a girl named Melissa moves to their town. Violet starts to feel like she is losing Lottie as a friend to Melissa, along with other obstacles in the way such as Violet getting questioned about liking a boy named Eddie, Violet almost getting struck by lightning, and Violet thinking she should start wearing a bra.

I highly recommend this book because it's funny, beautiful and heart-warming. So, go out and buy "Violet Raines Almost Got Struck By Lightning" by Danette Haworth, for a wonderful reading experience! :)
